Packs small enough, adds 5-10 degrees of warmth to current bag . This isn't backpacking size, it's definitely tent or camper size but it's still smallish for packing as an 'extra' just in case. Good quality.

This far north, wool blankets are a must for the home and the car. Almost everybody up here get stuck in the snow sooner or later. It's nice to stay warm when you do. If the heat goes out in the middle of the night you'll wish you had a few. Up here they can save your life and are just plain cozy on those cold winter night.
