I bought this as a spare because I know they are supposed to be replaced every season or so. Also, I have a friend that had a tube spring a leak in less than a year of use. I know these are very easy to install because you have to install it into the machine when you first get it. Mine has lasted 3 months so far and I figured I needed to have one on hand. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the price. For a short piece of tubing with 2 plastic fittings, I consider it to be over priced but I wasn't able to find it at a lower cost elsewhere.
