I've been using since the 70's and I'm pretty sure my father said he was using it back in the 50's. I've used different versions of it, even the one with copper in it. Never had a problem, sticks to everything. :)

Used to repair 40hp mercury outboard. This is needed for the heads and worked perfectly. Love to use the to hold gaskets in place as well. This can will last a long time and will serve multiple repair jobs. Makes a big difference and provides the confidence the job will last.

Great product to use in addition to your gasket. When installing a new gasket I add this onto the gasket to ensure an excellent seal. I have a small engine repair business and have added this to my repair inventory. I highly recommend this product.

This is very very thin stuff. It will run everywhere and is insanely sticky. WEAR Gloves! I used this on the felt seal on the rear of a TR3 engine. It worked great for that purpose. Have a LOT of shop towels ready to go. I had to use parts cleaner to clean my tools. But it did the job perfectly!

I used this on the hubs of my 80 series landcruiser and it worked great. Enough or a lifetime of use if you are a home mechanic but atleast I won't have to buy more anytime soon .

This is a great product. However, unless you are a mechanic or need this specific product go with Indian Head. It seems to be the same as Indian Head. If its just one motor or gasket there's no need for such a large quantity, it will just dry out.

Good stuff for non-gas (and non-solvent generally) - messy to use, bottle is no help... but good for non-solvent sealing where disassembly is likely someday. Great for boats.

I have an old JetSki that I used this on all the engine components whenever I replaced the gaskets and rebuilt the engine. I put in the gasket kit and then I applied this on the top and the bottom of each casket with a small coat. Once it’s in place it is extremely water proof and fuel proof and oil proof. This little bottle will last you forever

I used this adhesive while replacing my water impeller on my Evinrude outboard motor. Works great, just enough time to assemble, before it skins. Very tacky, and very bad vapors. Use a fan, and if your sensitive to vapors, wear a respirator. Overall I'd highly recommend this gasket adhesive. This size container will last a long, long time.

Apparently this is some old school brown goo that some older mechanics swear by. Smells awful (which in my experience means a chemical will actually work well). Still not sure exactly what this stuff was intended to do, coat paper gaskets? seal threads? make a gasket to seal two machined surfaces? Either way, i used this to plug a stubborn leak on my air compressor brass fitting and plug. Doesn't seem to harden, sealed up perfectly, 100 airtight, seems removable, so im happy. A nice tool for the amateur garage mechanic.
