This is a simple on-off switch operated by a tubular key. It has solder pot terminals, so soldering is required to use this. The key springs out of the lock so it cannot reliably be left in. The keys fit well and operation is reliable. A large brass-colored nut holds the key barrel into a 3/4 inch diameter hole. Two small flats are provide on the barrel to prevent spinning when operating the key.

If you are mounting in a wood panel or box, bore the 3/4 inch hole then glue two 1/16-inch thick by 5/16-inch wide by about 5/8 inch long strips, one on each side of the inside of the hole. Cyanoacrylate glue works well.
