A few gripes but not deal breakers. Came with a few dents on it and was kinda falling outa the package when it arrived as the package was basically destroyed. Also mine didn’t come with physical installation instructions which was annoying. This was the second one I ordered as the first one got canceled after a 1-2 week wait.Overall very good desk and ergonomic for producers just not the best experience getting it and getting it setup.

Getting this 1st as I have 2 of them. Used as intended as my studio video editor Desk. Has my 43 Inch Sony TV Monitor on the Bridge and my GAP Pre-73 Microphone Preamplifier and just too many accessories on that bridge too. Desk surface my Sony Blue Ray Player and Yamaha MG10XU Mixer and my Topping Headphone amplifier and SMSL DAC. Space overall is just right. If you need more consider the corner table extensions. Durable 1.00 box channel Steel in a Z form give strength and eliminate the 4 leg noise I didn't want. Cross braces are same 1.00 box channel rear cross brace. Very stout very strong. Hex Alan hardware, didn't bother with the included tools used my own power driver to get going. Wood is MDF with an epoxy finish. Mat black in this case semi gloss actually. Follow the instructions and you are good. Just be sure on the Keyboard to shove in the keyboard drawer all the way in on final assembly or sticks out too far by about an 1 and 1/4. Didn't discover that till my 2nd one shown here.2nd one is used for my home office application this time. I used a cheapy Monitor mount to free up the bridge. I may get more articulating one that can get closer to me. We'll see on that. I do IT support, and this desk was a natural. My history with the first one sold me on the 2nd one. Easy to clean and durable finished surfaces. It will scratch so don't go crazy, it's not a work bench. Seems sensitive to high temperature so also keep that in mind. Use coasters and a flat plate to isolate the finish from warm to hot heat like when you eat etc.Cable routing is a breeze get some black wide velcro strips and manage your cables from the uprights where needed. The box tube gives you some latitude there if you want. Me? I change so much all the time, cable management isn't a biggy for me. Also pay attention to getting it level. Easy to do really. Strong desk will how allot of weight if needed. I basically just keep the keyboard rails lubed and the surfaces cleaned and that is all the maintenance you need. A winner without spending allot, easy to build, takes up reasonable room. No hassles. I haven't tried the wood finish looking one and have no desire too, but just me I guess. Downsides, no 19 EIA rack mount kit for under the bridge. I suppose if you really wanted to you could make it, just stack your gear on the lower surface under the bridge, other than that, it is just what I needed and to this day trust. I think I have over 5 years living this model of desk, and I recommend it to anyone looking to put together a work area for just about anything.

Be aware that the product is damaged from de sides. Means leave manufactures like that, since the sides are Inside box with protection, wasn't a damaged from delivered. Unfortunately no time to replace since we going to be on vacation and desk was for a surprise

Not too difficult to assemble unless you also want the keyboard tray installed. In that case, you'll have to measure and drill your own holes. The desk isn't as sturdy as I would've liked. The whole thing shakes as I type on my laptop which is a bit annoying but something to get used to. This is a great desk for the beginner home studio or student. Not very big but some decent desk space for a single computer and a few accessories. I would suggest spending a little more for a more studier desk if you plan on spending a lot of time in the studio.
