Finally, a music holder actually designed so it can be used in front, or on the side, of a mic stand.Others didn't have enough space between the stand and the holder, so if you put the holder to the side it would be obscured even by a small pop screen. But this holder has 2.5 between the stand and the side of the holder, which is perfect. It's also quite sturdy with no sagging whatsoever, so I give it 5 stars all around.

Adjustable, sturdy and functional. Easy to use, pack up, travel and reassemble. Overall just a great buy for the money. I like the vertical, thin design. Works well for my application. I use it while learning lyrics while I play guitar. So, mostly practice and recording situations.

Works fine. Not huge but I liked that. It's better than having some cumbersome music stand on stage. It's a little bigger than a standard piece of paper. Bottom lip isn't huge either but will easily hold a notebook. No issues

I understand the tray and clamp is designed for a microphone stand, but if you plan on clamping it onto anything thicker than your thumb, good luck. I sat in my garage with needle files for a little less than an hour filing the clamp receptacle to fit my music stand and I will admit it turned out really well, but anyone with less patience and resources might have to return it.

Music stands are extra stuff to haul. This is perfect for lyrics; also works for an iPad I use for MIDI files!

Like most things, the simpler the better. This thing latches onto your mic stand (or any small, pipe-shaped surface) in seconds and does not move until you move it. I trust it to hold my $400 Fishman pedal at every gig. I play between two and six gigs per week, every week, and this little shelf has been a reliable, welcome addition to my rig, often eliminating the need for a side table. Paired with the OnStage drink holder (which mounts the same way and is another simple product that works great) your mic stand becomes an all-in-one workstation. No more bending over to adjust the pedal, engage the tuner, or pick up/put down your drink. I do recommend using it with at least a moderately heavy mic stand because the added offset weight of the shelf and any items on it can pull the lighter ones right over if they are not adequately balanced and/or secured to the stage, especially outside in the wind. The built-in mic mount is a great common-sense addition for mic'ing instruments. I don't use it, but the extended arm makes a great place to hang my guitar cable during breaks. If you're thinking this may benefit you, it will. Highly recommended for the gigging musician looking to streamline their rig.
