My apartment came with a mystery slot for a missing cutting board. My building manager simply stated that the apartment doesn't come with one. I took matters into my own hands and don't regret it. This fit the slot, it's easy to wipe down, it doesn't flex when using it, and the groove along the front allows me to easily grip it and pull it out. My ire is directed at my building management. My appreciation goes to the makers of this board.PS: Make sure you measure instead of guess! I was shocked by just how deep the slot was in the cabinet and that narrowed my options.

Works great as a replacement for the original breadboard. I stained and varnished just the edges so it blends with cabinets and then used mineral oil on the main part of the breadboard.

Bought this for Mom on her birthday, I thought it was going to go under her cabinet but it was a little to thick so it sits on top of the counter. She loves how sturdy it is, the finger pulls on opposite sides are awesome, she can use one side grip it firmly switch to the other side. It's easy to wipe down with no splintering, doesn't absorb odors either.
