I love thos but the slide that the sauce pours on is so low you have to put a pan under it and not a bowel. Poor engineering but does exactly what I wanted it to do

We purchased this to make sauce from our tomatoes. It works great, the only issue we have is that it tends to leak sometimes around the crank handle where it attaches. Since it's kind of a messy process, we just put a bowl underneath that area. It does work amazing well to extract the sauce from tomatoes and extrudes all the seeds and skins. Easiest thing we've found for making sauce from our garden of tomatoes.

So some have said it leaks. If the machine getting plugged up with skins of tomatoes and seeds, it will leak at handle. It was easy to put items together and wash. I highly recommend you remove skins of tomatoes before running them thru

I had one of these years ago and stupidly got rid of it in a move. I reordered and I do love it. I don't feel that this newer version clamps to the counter the same way the older one does nor does the shield (part that catches the sauce) clamp on as it should. It was slightly warped when it came so I don't know if that the problem, but it does pop off frequently.

The only thing I didn't like was the output was locked in place. My friend has one that you can tip up the output tray while changing the catch bowl out. This was a good price for what it does. The tomato mill saves so much time and mess. no blanching and peeling hot skins anymore. just cut them into pieces that will fit into the input tube...they can even be a little tight and just shove them down with the push tool included. I run the waste through it again and get ever drop of sauce out I can. Its a great machine!
