Mission: NFCA aims to increase detection and diagnosis of celiac disease and improve quality of life for individuals and families following the gluten-free lifestyle.

Results: NFCA has increased the availability and accessibility of gluten-free options in grocery stores, trains restaurants in proper gluten-free food preparation and launched a free continuing medical education program (www. CeliacCMECentral. com) to teach primary care physicians how to detect, diagnosis and treat celiac disease - the first of its kind.
