I LOVE this for my pup’s paws! We were having problems with running him in the winter. His paws would dry out and crack and he refuses to wear boots. We still run every day but this product keeps his paws smooth and soft. Like an earlier review said, I also apply right before heading out the door and then wipe his paws clean when we get home- otherwise you’ll have waxy footprints all over your floors!

Great for YOUR hands as well as the critters' feet! We wash our hands after every customer and more. At night we rub this on, put on white cotton glove and our hands recover.

Didn't try it on my pet as it did not have a safety/quality seal anywhere on it. All products, especially those being applied on your body, should be sealed after manufacturing and prior to use; shouldn't be any different for your pet.

I notice my boy is more comfortable in the snow while walking. He doesn't seem to pick his paws up and/or lick them as much. I am looking forward to using it for summer while walking.

Heading out with my lab each morning during the colder months I applied this product for added protection of the paws against ice and salt. Very easy to apply with end result of less irritation from the elements.

We live in Massachusetts and have a LOT of snowy winters. Bought this product to help prevent the snow & ice from balling up in our dogs' paws and protect them from the salt on the sidewalks. It definitely helped to moisturize their paws, though not 100% at keeping the ice balls and salt out of their pads. Still helpful in getting them through long walks, and they love having it rubbed into their paws!

I put this on my dogs paws every two days in winter. If I don't, during the coldest days when the dogs spend time out walking on frozen ground with lots of hard snow, their paws hurt enough for them to lift a paw on the way back to the house. When I use this (teaspoon smeared between the pads, some rubbed on the outside of the paw) their paws are healthier and they can spend more time outside without discomfort. A must for non-arctic dogs spending time outside in temperatures below 20F, especially on concrete.<br /><br />I apply it with the dogs on a dollar store area carpet that gets the excess off when they come in. The carpet pad gets the wax excess so it doesn't get tracked into the house. Toss the carpet when it looks bad and grab another (every two years for me).
