Overall, a great product. The studs hold well. What I've found, on our Jetta, is only weld it for a split second. The instructions recommend 1/2 a second to a second, but that seems to be too much for thin metal. Not too happy with the Magna-Wire. The 16 gauge seems too thin and broke before we could put much tension on it.Will look at the 12 gauge. Recommendation: the tips kept falling out, especially the one for the Magna-Wire. If you can put a stronger magnet, that may solve it. Also, the studs are supposed to be able to be held at the top of the welder, but barely hold. Again, a stronger magnet should improve this. Recommend that they include some 12 gauge Magna-Wire in this kit.

I have used the tool to pull deformations on wheel arches. Provides good control. Hammer has a good grip for strong pull-force.

A nice quality, made in USA stud gun for a reasonable price. I own a restoration shop and so stud guns are something that gets used a bit around here. We've tried cheap systems from discount stores in strip malls that sell foreign made tools and we've tried units costing three times as much coming off of fancy red and black tool trucks. At the end of the day, this system falls solidly in the bottom 25 in terms of price, yet will stand it's ground against even the most expensive in terms of quality. When my employees finish tearing up enough tools that I need to order some more stud guns, these will get my business the next time again.

Slide hammer slides off studs. This tool did get the job done and for the money I can't complain. I'd like to try different studs with the hope that it will fix problem.

Works just like a high dollar stud gun ..I work on the collision repair business..so I use it almost every day plus some coworkers borrow it from time to time..this model came with a nice strong slide hammer..I RECOMEND THIS PRODUCT can't go wrong for the price
