Easy build, but kinda useless pedal. Seems to suck the high end off my tone. The pot is scratchy and the whole thing seems to be microphonic.Fun for a first build. I found the piledriver more useful to raid the jacks and switch for another pedal project. Far better kits can be had from General Guitar Gadgets and Build Your Own Clone.

We just received our DIY Piledriver. The kit seems complete and contains what seem like good components. The box is a let down though, the volume knob hole is about 1/4 inch off center. Stuff like this bothers me a lot. The kit should include an external 2.1mm power jack too. We'll see where we are after the build.

This was my first DIY electronics project so I was pretty hesitant to buy this in the first place. bu t the instructions were easy to follow. I don't like the decal so I didn't put it on. Instead I just painted the box myself. As I said the build wasn't hard and it was pretty interesting too. Great boost for a 25 pedal. All my freinds keep asking me "what brand is that??"
