These are great for getting little ones interested and engaged with music. It helps build foundations for continued learning as they grow and develop. The colors are vibrant even without a light table, but they really pop when backlit!

We love music in our house so when I saw these translucent musical counters from Miniland Store I knew they would be a great addition to our light table accessories. The musical notes come in 16 support frames that they need to be manually removed from. Each support frame contains the same set of musical notes: 1 rest, 1 quarter note, 1 eighth note, 1 half note, 1 whole note and 1 sixteenth note. There are four support frames of each color: blue, yellow, orange and purple. Once removed from the support frame all edges of the musical notes appear smooth, the plastic is sturdy and the colors are clear and vibrant. We will be able to use these to sort the notes by color, note type, use them for counting practice or even basic composition when the children are a little older. Overall a nice set of musical counters but I have to knock it one star for the included musical staff. The set comes with just one musical staff and it is a thin plastic that I don't think will hold up well in the long term. Out of the box it has indents and small tears from the musical note support frames.
