Hard to tell from the photo, but the cut was clean with minimal visible tool marks on the bottom or sides when cutting 6061. This was the primary reason for purchasing, so I'm satisfied. For what it's worth though, tried to use one to cut acrylic. While it did cut, I had to pause the job multiple times to snip off excess material from the tip of the endmill. Probably better to stick with cutting metal using these.

I don't run these in a CNC. I run them in a Bridgeport they run fine. I run them at 3,000 rpm they do what I need them to machine.

Nice set of bits, very sharp. I have been using these for hogging out material from hardwoods on my x carve. I've run 40ish hours on my first bit and still cutting well.

These do not break very easily and produce a nice finish.

I bought this to subtract some material from a piece of forged aluminum. don't have a lot of experience with the material, so i bought a few different end mills just in case something gave me trouble. in my experience, i thought i would use this to plunge cut and a 3-fluted or more for everything else. this thing blasted through the material. it was so sharp and rigid that even 1.25 deep, it never tugged or made the part slip, despite it being in soft jaws and a manual machine with no power feeds. I never took any of the other tooling out of the packaging. in hindsight, i probably didn't need to buy carbide, but it's a great investment if you're afraid that something lesser would dull and ruin your part by moving it or something.i don't know how much material i removed with it. i cut with it for over an hour and if it's not as sharp as when i began, i can't tell. I ran it with water and a dash of rust lick to clear the chips.

I wish the shoulder was just a hair higher. It's a little too close for comfort when cutting through 1/4 stock.

These are amazing for what I need them for. So far I've ran this endmill through this job 2 times. The program is just over an hour making it around 2hrs of use in total. This bit is still cutting like butter and ready for the next job. These are the only endmills I will buy from now on. Don't go spend $60 on an Amana when you can get 5 of these sub $40. Just stop searching and buy these. Thank me later.....your welcome!

I use these for inlay work and very small, shallow routing operations, mounted in a Dremel tool. They are SHARP and very precise. An excellent value!

I use these with a Sainsmart 3018 CNC to engrave and cut detailed shapes from brass. I'm using both 0.7mm-thick sheet brass and 0.5mm-thick brass blank disks with a feed rate of 25mm/min, so it's quite slow, but the results are super sharp and reliable.

The first bit I used worked fine. I cannot evaluate durability yet.

I had been going through these small, detail bits like crazy - the head would snap if you looked at it funny. I decided to try these that have a much shorter cutting length, but figured they would have less flex in the bit. They worked out great - I was able to cut through a 1/32 piece of brass on my CNC machine. Left clean cuts and I used 1 bit where before I'd have to use a half dozen due to breaking in process.

These are fantastic end mills for soft metals. They leave an excellent finish and last a long time at a great price. I will be buying more to have on hand.

I love these bits. They're sharp and cut nice and clean. What especially like about them is that they're strong bits. I only managed to break one because my machine glitched and collided full speed into the workpiece. I even once mistakenly programmed in a stepdown slightly longer than the cutting length of the bit and it survived, to my surprise. I will buy these again.

These are good tools, but they aren't the most economical way to use a 1/8 in. router bit. Buy the 1/4 to 1/8 adapter and use 1/8 in. tools directly.

Very sharp bits. I had been using another brand of bit that is much cheaper and had no idea what I was missing. Very sharp bits. Had to look twice because of the noise reduction when I used the first one. I thought it broke, it was just so much sharper than the bits I had been using.
