This works well for making pecan pies and other food that would normally call for corn syrup. I made pecan pies using it and no one knew the difference. Next, I am going to use it to make caramel pecan sauce for cinnamon rolls. Yum! I recommend stocking up on them before the holidays as they can get harder to find.

I have a few dishes like pecan pie that require a good syrup. I use this since the sugas don't all break down at the same time within me. I have not gotten negative reaction to the sugar from eating a piece of pecan pie made with this. Of cousre, I don't use it often and don't eat gobs of pie. If you have a blood sugar problem, do consult with your doctor. If you try it, pay close attention to how your body reacts. For me it is a winner for whne I want to do treats like pecan pie, carrot cake, and gingerbread cookies. One thin to be creful about. If you open a jab and have some left, store it in the refrigerator.
