This oil filter cap wrench is perfect: 3/8 rear opening set in reinforced plate - just right for your 3/8 ratchet or breaker bar. Definitely a heavy duty / quality piece.I will be using it on Fram 7317 spin-on oil filters (XG7317 in my case) - for that last half turn or so, and to loosen the filter if it does not want to loosen easily when changed.I measure the back side of my Fram XG7317 as 65.5 mm - and this filter wrench (with its slight taper to accommodate 65 - 67 mm filters) truly fits like a glove; no slip whatever.Highly recommended.

Anyone who's changed oil on an F150 knows getting to the filter can be a bear. My last oil change was a nightmare and I vowed to buy the wrench I wanted regardless of the cost. I was done playing around with metal straps when there is barely enough room to tighten the wrench. I was done playing around with a 74/76mm 14/30 flute cap wrench and I was done playing with shallow wrenches and flimsy ones. I was DONE! I almost bought a Harley Davidson wrench and was prepared to buy Snap On if it meant I got what I wanted.This fits a 76mm 14 flute filter like a glove, it's deep enough to actually grab the filter and it's not paper thin.For the interest of those searching...I sadly know that this also fits FL400S as after the oil change from hell the auto parts store sold me the wrong filter.

It's welded with two beads on top (in addition to the spot welds shown on the inside). The 76mm portion fits like a glove on the Fram's rubbery grip. Made in Taiwan, not China.

Fits great. I hate even using a filter wrench but this is nice to have to snug it on and get it off after 6k miles. Fits Motorcraft FL2051S filter.

This wrench is very thin. Will not last long for sure. Water proof paint is useless. 3/8 hole is too weak.

I got this for my first oil change on a Bronco Sport. I figured I'd need it to remove the factory installed filter and I was right. It was on there very tight. As long as I do my own oil changes I shouldn't need it again but it worked well enough for what I needed it for.

It fits my oil filter on my craftsman zeroturn mower. The filter is in had to reach spot. I had to use a rubber clamp to remove the filter and that was difficult. This makes it much easier with a socket wrench.
