This was the last piece I needed to complete all 8 place settings of my China pattern. The standard 5-piece place setting doesn't include a bowl, and I think it is a necessary piece, so I have been adding 1 or 2 at a time. Love this pattern.

These plates definitely help break up the overly wide blue band on the dinner plates which show finger prints. Without these I was disappointed in the collection. They are pricey, so I kept watching for a significant price drop.
