I'm trying to be more minimalist and have begun using a single pasta bowl for pretty much every meal, regardless of what I'm eating. Using the same bowl lets me keep dish washing to a minimum. This bowl is perfect for sandwiches, soup, and everything in between. So the design with the very gradual slope works well for me. But it's also genuinely beautiful. I love the bird and it makes me happy to see it every time I use this plate! Since it's one I use all the time, it has gone through a few hard knocks, and hasn't chipped or cracked yet, either. I'm very pleased with it.

Beautiful pattern. You actually get 4 pasta bowls (which was a nice surprise), so this is actually a GREAT price for bone china... although I thought it felt a bit heavy for bone china though, so I'm not sure about the accuracy of that.

The design is beautiful but there's a small hole on the bottom of the glass so when you wash it it gets stuck inside the glass. Not sure why they have a hole at the bottom?

I agree with other reviews that this is not really going to keep coffee hot as long as other tumblers, but my main use for it is to take my mug with me for a walk with a stroller (it fits in the cup holders) or a quick errand down the street. I prefer my coffee and tea in ceramic, and having a pretty tumbler like this on the go brings me joy. The insulation keeps my hand from getting hot, and the lid is great at preventing spills. My only issue is the capacity. If you use k-cups, it maxes at 10oz of liquid...like it will spill if your hand isn't steady moving it from the machine. If it could hold 10oz with just a little more room to avoid spillage I wouldn't complain. If it held 12oz comfortably, it would be perfect.

The bowl is exactly what I wanted. It's in perfect condition, arrived very quickly, couldn't have asked for any better packing!! The packing really stood out to me! Very impressed!!
