My little girl loves these! She plays with them by tossing them around her cage (and eats them too, of course!). The smaller size of these compared with the parrot Nutri Berries is perfect for her little seed-chomping beak. I like to put a few in her food bowl and throughout her cage, and I serve them with Rowdybush pellets. They keep her occupied, and are lovely little foraging snacks.

My 4 year old parakeet loves these. I offer him these and some Higgins sunburst seeds everyday in separate bowls and he loves them both. However, the 10 oz bags have become outrageously priced. I had purchased a 4lb bucket at one point, and it lasted a long time but I'm sure it was stale by the time we finished that bucket, and also the bucket berries were harder and seemed different than the 10oz. bag version that often comes with some crushed. The bucket ones were actually uncrushable with my fingers. The kicker is that the last few times I've tried to buy it, there is one option that is less ( and still too much $$$) than the other options and it adds to my cart but then my cart says out of stock so I'm forced to pick the more expensive one suddenly or wait it out.. So I'm done. Bird food shouldn't be this expensive. It's a shame but I am not continuing this game of bait and charge more. I think I will just switch my bird's food. They were great, but are no longer worth the price if one only has one parakeet. IMHO. I'm giving it two stars because my bird loves them and only two stars because seriously, it is just too much $$
