I really like this butter cover. I have bought many options throughout the years but this one is simple and effective. You cut off the amount you need then slide this over the open end and it stays covered until the next time you need it. It is dishwasher safe so easy to clean. I would bu again if I ever needed another one.

As hard as I tried I could not stretch it enough to fit. It does fit European style butter sticks. I separated the solid piece from the ring and the solid piece fits on a standard American butter stick. I use that butter for cooking so I like having a cover when I put the butter back in my fridge after cutting off what I need. Not quite what I was expecting but it's okay.

This is a much needed simple solution. The end of your butter stick is no oner exposed and there's no messy paper/foil to worry about. There was a question and review about it not fitting west coast butter; I'm in San Francisco, CA and it fits perfectly!
