Very Decent Basic white candles. Unscented. Didn't smoke. Did drip some. Fine value for the money.

These are perfect for everyday use. They fit in my candle holder and look great on my table. They're not too long so it doesn't look creepy elegant but it looks nice and generic which is what I go for when it's not the holidays. There's 8 in the box and the bottom makes it easy to just insert into my candle holders without having to lose some wax from the bottom.

I'm not sure why... but a couple of candles can turn a week night dinner into so much more. Now don't get me wrong. I'm a romantic. After 30 years I still like to do something to make my special someone feel special. I'll grill a couple of steaks, bake a couple of potatoes... a little olive oil, a little garlic... you know; dinner. I always have candles on hand and I like ones that burn clean, little to zero smoke and I like them to burn consistent and slow. I've had others that you could literally light at the same instant and an hour later one was three inches longer than the other... not so with these. I immediately noticed when I removed two of them from the package that when they clinked together the wax was pretty hard. They almost sounded like glass... I like that as it usually means they will last a while. I fired up two of them and they settled quickly in to a nice very steady approximately 1" flame. Zero drips. Zero smoke. Nothing but beautiful candlelight. Turn on a little jazz. You've got yourself a party for two! These cost approximately two dollars per candle. I promise you cannot purchase anything... ANYTHING... for two dollars that will bring down the noise and raise the thoughtfulness of your weeknight or weekend date night like these will! Trust me fellas and fellettes. This is a few dollars very well spent!

These taper candles are just the right height for what I needed them for - and I love that they don't drip...they're perfect for weddings or other big events, too! However, they did smoke some when I blew them out, but it didn't last long. I love that they're a little shorter than the usual 10" taper candles (they're 8"), so that I can use them as a table centerpiece without them being obstructive. Overall I'm happy with them!

this pack of 8 candles comes to about 2.00 a candle. About the same as my local store but this a pack of 8 not 4 like in my local store at the same price each candle. I like the convenience of the larger amount of candles. Most of these are going into my emergency supplies, but will use as needed for other purposes too. Always make sure to note your uses of the emergency supplies and refill as soon as you can. Might just come back at some point in the future to add to this review, lets get thru the winter and various holidays first.
