I'd give it a 5 star rating for quality but 3 stars for the price. I have one for Diesel and on for gasoline. Like the grip valve because it doesn't leak like almost every other fuel can does since they went CARB compliant years back.

Very impressed with overall construction and how tight the fittings/cap is on this can. Intend to use it for long term storage of gasoline for my generator with the addition of fuel stabilizer. Since gasoline degrades with oxidation, moisture exposure, etc, I'm optimistic that the tightness of this container will reduce that risk. When full, it's heavy. Strongly recommend buying with hose for dispensing rather than relying on pouring into a funnel.

The bottom oil canned and cracked after about a year of use. The can is warranted for 10 years and Justrite made good after I contacted them with a replacement with a redesigned bottom. I would not hesitate to buy this can again.

Near the nozzle input the paint is chipped and flaking off (not excited about that), but the kerosene container seems to be strong and safe. From my experience with 5gal kerosene container, I have seen: -Chipped paint near the spout connection point (on top, not the face of the connection point) -There is so much safety stuff on the top of the can that it is top heavy and wants to tip over if there isn't a lot of fuel in the can. -The mesh screen inside of the filling hole has some orange (rust?) on the screen, it should be fine with a bunch of kerosene covering it, right? I hope so.Overall, I am satisfied, I ordered another one because I don't trust the plastic containers to last more than a year or two, but this metal container should last long enough for my grandkids to sort through in my estate sale when I die, haha...
