The swivel turns so easily under pressure compared to the cheaper alternatives, it feels like I wasted money buying the cheaper stuff. This is my go to from now no.

This is just what they claim, a live swivel. I have a small power washer to clean vehicles and the hose always gets loops as I move around a vehicle. I've tugged on the hose before to get more reach and those loops have flipped up and hit the vehicle. I purchased a cheaper swivel which doesn't swivel very easily and it allowed a loop to flip up and hit the side of my black car. I purchase this that day. It swivels so smooth under pressure. You can turn the washer nozzle like turning the volume on the radio. The hose doesn't get loops as badly and when I pull they just unwind because the nozzle allows the hose to rotate freely. I wouldn't consider this a must have item. You can live without it as long as you are careful. If you are considering one to make life easier, this is the one to buy.
