You have to oil after every wash for sure to properly care for them as the wood dries out quickly and they come with just a very thin coating.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for a male in the family who loves to make steaks. He absolutely loved it said it was perfect and the perfect size to have a nice size steak and some vegetables on the side.

I use this for everything... Use it like a plate. Very cool. Make a steak and let it rest on this plate... never have to use a new plate to eat on.

I love to use these when we have guests over for steak. They don't try to cut a hole in my dishes with a steak knife. It is a little annoying to clean (they have to be hand washed).
