Mission: Himalayan Children’s Charities creates paths out of poverty for orphaned and abandoned Nepali children. Through investment in quality education, innovative mentorship and a loving family environment, we help build lives of leadership. HCC was founded in 2000 on a principle of community service, and we encourage our students to use their experiences and position to help others. Our philosophy creates a cycle of giving, ensuring that HCC’s future leaders are dedicated to helping vulnerable children in positions that they were once in.

Results: Our scholarship programs have directly supported over 230 remarkable children - 18 students have graduated with university degrees, and currently 31 students are enrolled at the collegiate level and over 100 are studying in elementary or high school. Our various outreach projects and initiatives have served an additional 10,000 individuals in the capital of Kathmandu and throughout rural Nepal.

Direct beneficiaries per year: 150+ children from the ages of 8 to 22
