The HiVi F10's design has been optimized for dynamic low bass performance in a compact or medium size vented enclosure. The F10 utilizes a newly developed matrix of Kevlar and paper fibers. The cone weighs less, is more rigid, and has an improved damping factor. It keeps distortion very low through the woofer's wide frequency and power range. The driver has a vented pole piece to avoid air compression and ensure maximum power handling. The long-throw design provides clean and articulate bass performance at high volumes. A massive aluminum die-cast basket has been developed to minimize structural resonances. Recommended crossover frequency, 300Hz.
