But my Quaker will NOT touch it. He was a baby when he came into our family and pretty open to anything I would give him. Not this. I’ve sprinkled it on his favorite fruits and veggies, left nothing BUT this in his bowl. Mixed with his favorite morning food. Made an oatmeal type breakfast with it. Pounded it to a pulp and rolled his beloved Lafeber’s in it. Nada. Pretty sad he won’t even try it after a 30 day period. We’re persistent, but he’s persistent-er. It’s touted as a GREAT food and I’m sure it is. IF YOU’RE BIRD WILL EAT IT. $20 out the window. Boo.

My parrots are older and need a fine food to eat. Higgins fin provides nutritional requirements for parrots. Parrots should be on a pellet diet, not seed.

Budzilla, our 32-year old sulfur-crested cockatoo is fed only the Harrison's brand because it is certified organic and non-GMO which is a nutritional criterion for our household. Budzilla does like to occasionally play around and fling a Harrison's nugget or two up in the air, but he does enjoy his high potency food and does well on this diet, he is healthy, and has full "plumage." He's been dining on Harrison's for many many years.

I am not sure. The quality seems fine, and I like how small the pellets are. I have smaller birds, and one cockatiel who is weird and refuses to eat larger pellets. However, it seems like only one or two of the birds are pecking at it. I mix it with Roudybush nibles. Not sure if I have to, but thought I might as well offer both in case one has something the other lacks.Still, if at least one of them will eat it it's a win. My birds are always really particular. I am hoping my sick budgie eats it, or more of it, as he's underweight and could use a boost of everything.
