Worked great for my lab. It's starting to fall apart but that's because he caught it on things in the boat. I would buy again for the value.

Size chart is very incorrect but the price is good and the quality is good. My lab weighs 53lbs and I purchased the large (large says 50-88lbs) I was able to buckle it around his chest but the velcro was about an inch short. But the length down the back was good. I had my mom add 3 inches of fabric to extend the velcro and now it fits perfect.So unless you know someone with a sewing machine you may be sending this back.

My dog likes to jump out of speeding boats. Niw, when he decides to dive in, all I have to do is grab the handle and lift.It fits great because you can adjust it in 3 spots. 2 underneath and 1 in front if the neck.I ordered the one for a med dog. It fit as expected. I have a larger Jack Russell mix that weighs around 26 lbs.

The size says that it was for a medium size dog up to 50 lbs. Definitely measure your dog! My dog weighs approx 25-30 lbs, but she has a barrel type chest, however she is not a big dog. The life vest doesn't even fit around her middle, I am not sure what type dog they had in mind for this vest however the size wise it was perfect for her body. The large vest would be too big for her because she is a small to med size dog, so I guess my search will continue. I am going to have to send mine back... I was very disappointed.

We had just picked up our new pitbull puppy. He was the runt of the litter and weighed about 5lbs when we got him. The following day we went on a kayak trip down the Saco.The life jacket was bought for that specific weekend. When we tested it out he floated. He was too little to actually swim with it at the time. This was more of a piece of mind thing in case we flipped.But if you do have a small dog it was nice. It was easy to put on, and had a handle to grab him. The best part was it was a good price and just about the only XS life jacket I could find that wasn't pink.
