It is certainly more light gray than anywhere near black, but it is good quality, heavy/solid. Aside from the color being way different than advertised I do still like it enough to keep!

Although this is a wine stand, I use it to hold a large gray candle in my bathroom. It's very well made and looks beautiful. Given the cost, it's a great deal and I would recommend highly!

I ordered two of these wine coaster in the black marble as a gift. What arrived was two gray wine coaster, one much darker that the other . I was not notified by company of the change of color. I ordered from them so I could get the black, but instead, was notified of arrival of two unmatched gray.
