These are beautiful bookends. They are sturdy and heavy enough to hold up sizeable books.

These book ends were the perfect pop of white marble to show off my hard cover books in my display case. Well worth the money and quality is impeccable!

I love love these but they're very heavy and broke my floating shelf! My fault because I didn't check the weight - they're 44 lbs each and my shelf only held 50 lbs total. Really nice bookends but be advised!

These have a good weight to them, look great with most furniture, and are well made. I don't like gimmicky book ends, and these are simple but still visually appealing, so they're great. They also feel very solid and sturdy, and can probably last a long time.

I notice some of the reviews lately show damage from transport, but, for what it's worth, mine had no damage and have worked well. Very heavy package, but that is kind of the point.

I wanted to love these bookends and if they did not arrive cracked, I probably wood. It was very disappointing to open the box to find a large crack right through the bookend. The crack is very deep and goes through both sides of the marble, if used the corner would definitely fall off. After the fact I read some reviews and found many others had the same problem. Do not buy these bookends unless you want broken ones.

Let me just be honest.. I was mortified trying to pick this tiny box up off my front porch while all of my neighbors were just getting home from work. I mean it is literally smaller than a shoe box and I couldn't get it off the ground.... once I saw people staring.. probably thinking they should come help..(which they didn't) I pretended to scoot it to another spot on my front porch and acted like that is where it was suppose to go and then hauled ass inside and cried of embarrassment.It's been like 2 months since that horrible day and the only progress I have is...... I've gotten the package inside. But it's on the floor, in my living room, because I had to scoot it inside, as well. (I waited til 3am to do it...so no one could watch) -I don't entertain for free.. ya feel me?Things I think these things could hold up successfully:-my house. Just put them right under and we are good to go-my car. I think we will only need 1 if put in dead center-a group of women in the bathroom at a bar. I think if we played our cards right this could be very successfulI'm going to stop there. Why on earth are these heavy enough to hold the Statue of Liberty? I can't get them out of the box to see what they look like but I certainly know I don't want to put them on my shelves or tables to test them out.. holding up my books because I'm scared they are going to take the whole house down with them. So if anyone has any advice. They do look as pictured from what I can tell as they lay in the box. They came very fast. Forget a book.. They can hold a rhino. I mean I don't feel like this is a complete fail. If my bed ever breaks.. you better believe I'm putting these suckers under it. Ok that is all. Thank you for your time.

Solid, heavy and very pleasing to the eye.

I understand that each item may vary slightly with the marble design, but the ones I received are basically just plain white. Way too pricey to not get the marble-looking design I wanted.

I got the white marble variety. There are some grey streaks in them. That really adds to the look of then. They look good and are quite robust.
