Add to all of this a lightweight neodymium motor with a built-in aluminum demodulation ring for low distortion, and you have one of the most cutting-edge 12" woofers in the Pro Audio industry.
A treated polycotton triple-roll surround is mated to the 12FH520's treated paper cone for durability, and the 3" aluminum voice coil is mounted on a glass fiber former for maximum heat resistance. The eight-spoke, cast-aluminum frame minimizes backwave reflection while offering maximum structural rigidity. Made in Italy.
