After 14 years my JBL Mpro bit the bullet. I decided to take a chance on buying a speaker without hearing it. Eminence has a great reputation so I rolled the dice. The Eminence Imperio fit perfectly, and the sound is amazing. I opted for the 4 ohm version (also comes in 8). If I was to describe the difference between it and the original, I would say it is tighter and less rumble. It punches harder than the JBL did. I have not one complaint with the Original, I certainly am not complaining about this one. I was looking for a replacement, I think got that and more. I would recommend this American made product to anyone.
