The is the perfect alternative to typical flat / flimsy low profile athletic hats. Instead, it holds its shape well and rests slightly above the dome (what I consider mid-profile). It has a retro surfy aesthetic, breathes really well, and can even pack flat in my back pocket. Beware, however, that the strap is pretty short. I have a medium, 7 1/4 head and there is only aboout an inch left of the strap. If your are rocking more than an 8 inch dome, this hat will be too small. Otherwise, it will be one of the best hats you'll own.

I own a couple of these hats by Richardson and love them for daily use. Whether I'm out running errands or hitting the trails, this hat is comfortable wicks moisture well.
