The tent I put this on, the 6 person, gets the rain off the rain fly dripping directly onto the window seams, and seems to migrate through the bottom of the tents screen/window. Just on the sides. It's weird.

The new tent said waterproof, but to help keep the sun off and then keep the torrents of rain we had the first night, I felt better with the rainfly.

Bought it for my Coleman tent and I have to say, this is the only part of the tent that did not leak. It fully did its job. After a night of heavy rain, I got no water leak from the top of the tent. There were 2 small drops of water between the rain fly and the top of the tent, that's it. The tent walls is a different story.

This rain fly works as designed, fit is not exact. It's as if Coleman made this as an afterthought, and it was not designed for the tent in mind.

The Coleman tent is spacious and simple to use but definitely not water proof. This fly is sorely needed for the tent and makes it much better! Do not buy the tent without it and then be sure to seal the tent too.

Bought this to use as a rain fly on our tent and it is exactly what I needed. Came with stakes and rope for securing. The material is lightweight but durable.

We got our tent as a wedding gift and opened it for the first time on our camping trip. Somehow the labeling on the product page for it and what was inside didn't match up. Had our tent been the one we thought it was then yes this rain fly would have been just right. And I mean honestly it still worked for us, it was just a little bit snug on our tent, and thankfully it didn't rain that night but I don't really know that it would have kept us dry if it did

Does the job. Fits on the tent very well. Only issue is that it's sold as grey color, but is actually a tan or light brown color. Doesn't match the tent color, but we're keeping it anyway.

Easy to install, does not block outside view when installed. Helps keep tent cooler in the sun and protects the tent from sap and whatnot from the trees/birds, but I strongly suggest applying a thorough coat of silicon waterproofing spray before use.
