I bought these for a ring toss/color matching game for a toddler Halloween party. These are great: soft, but sturdy so no one will get hurt if the rings are thrown astray. They do have that rubber stink, which I think will go away if I let them air out in the garage for a couple days. These seem like high quality and I will be able to use them for a lot of activities as my kids grow. My almost 2 year old was very excited when I took these out of the package and immediately started playing with them.

I recall from my childhood two types of rings. One was the semi soft spongy kind and the other a hollow ring of harder rubber. These are the former. I would buy them again and I recommend them. I have not received any remuneration in any form whatsoever. It is important to separate real reviewers from paid hacks. See no free lunch and PC magazine Dvorak

I used DECK TENNIS RINGS at all family parties as a kid. We recently started up the reunion again. There were enough rings to give out to all young marrieds. The older ones wanted more. We played using basic volleyball rules but those under 11 can grab and hold the ring where the older ones must throw it back as soon as they get it. All ages played and the fun was still there. The reunion is in a few weeks and the kids want to do this again!
