The horseshoe game set is very sturdy and great quality. Well worth the price. The storage bag is a little flimsy but is holding up ok so far. The horseshoes are made very well and have not chipped or anything. Very happy with quality and price.

The set was a birthday gift for my husband - an INFINITELY difficult person for whom to purchase anything. I know this b/c he is NOT shy about displaying lack of enthusiasm for misses. He lost his 50-year-old 'shoes in our last move. As soon as he tried this new set, he was happy again and planning more practice and play sessions.

I ordered these shoes last week, received them and within the very first game one of the shoes snapped in half. They are not made of solid metal they just sort of crumble. Don't waste your time or money!

This has become a fun pastime for our family during Covid life - throwing metal objects across an expanse of grass at a pole. They have a heavy feel in your hand, clink nicely, come with nearly everything you need (bring along a mallet to get that pole into the ground rather than trying to use your brute strength,) and have brought us together to enjoy the outdoors. They have gotten some little chips in them, but when you throw metal at metal, that's going to happen after awhile. I compared many different sets online and found this to be the best overall for the money, and it's great to have its own carrying case rather than trying to tape up a box that lives in your garage and isn't user-friendly. This set, however, does NOT come with good aim...that is something you'll have to work on yourself!
