Meter failed after using it twice .... blew one of the internal fuses which aren't covered under warranty .... show have fixed the 40 yr old Craftsman multi meter this was to replace ..... live and learn you get what you pay for

Really good deal for the money. Very well made and sturdy. Home handyman so need for this infrequent. A lot of capabilities, in spite of the fact that 99 of the time it’s used as a voltmeter or continuity tester!

I'm not an electrician, so I just wanted a basic, easy to use multimeter, able to check 1.5v, 9v, 12v car batteries and an occasional wall socket. This multimeter easily does that. My only con would be the instructions don't cover the basic uses, I had to check out the how to's on youtube.

The display on my multimeter stopped working after 2 years. On one hand, you can say that after two years maybe that's expected, but on the other hand, with the cost of this item, I would expect it to last at least a decade.
