One problem would be the replacement of battery. Little time consuming to remove the backing. But you dont do it that often. Can't say how it would hold up on everyday use. Definitely it is for home use. Having that continuity buzzer is handy.

This instrument worked very well. I tested the boards on my large plasma TV. Found the defective devices and sent the board off for repairs. Likely to save me $1500. Great product.

I'm using this to diagnose issues with my '48 Dodge, and it does a good job of letting me know what's going on. I would like it to have clips on the testing terminals, rather than points, since it's difficult to diagnose issues if you have to hold the pointed ends on the area being tested and interpret the data at the same time. I do love that I can test a whole range of things.

I was a little skeptic when I saw the low price, given the specs. The reviews were many and positive, so I gave it a shot. Nice little device! All I needed, and a lot more. I especially needed the ability to measure low voltages and low currents for electronics work. I don't need high accuracy, so the few digits displayed are fine.
