Just buy it to get the extra clearance that you need or simply to not wear out your socket if you tube roll a lot

A little stiff upon arrival, but after a few tube rollings, very smooth.

Works perfectly. I would recommend a small amount of dielectric grease on the pins and the sockets otherwise they're extremely tight.
