Really thick and holds heat overnight very well. I definitely recommend if you are on the fence about whether or not it's worth it. Do it! The clear allows it to still heat up the pool during sunlight hours also. We have a lot of shade from a huge tree, and this has made the water much warmer even without the sun.

I'm really impressed with this solar cover. The material is thick. It's works amazing. It's a little over 18', which works awesome for leaving a floaty or two in the pool. Love it!

Switch from a blue to this clear solar cover to get faster heat since the pool is in the shade half of the day. Works very good at warming up the water and also keeping out bugs and debris.

We originally got one of the blue lighter-weight solar covers but it didn't work out. We decided to get this one that was more heavy duty. So glad we did. It feels much more sturdy and durable.One drawback is the bubbles are the small ones. When we have this on the pool with the pump on, water can get on top and it seems to not be quite as effective.Would definitely buy this over the thinner alternatives.

I have an 18ft Metal Framed Pool. I needed a new cover and saw this gem. I purchased it and I almost didn't receive it on it, but did get it. I put it on today and it's very heavy duty and sturdy and it'll work great. The drawback is that its a bit big since the pool is round and the cover is a bit larger on the round side almost a foot larger in diameter. It'll work fine and hopefully keep the bugs out as well. I should have almost ordered a 16ft cover, but it'll do the job, hopefully longer than 1 summer.

I was amazed at how thick this opaque white solar cover is compared to the flimsy blue cover that I was replacing. And my pool jumped 10 degrees overnight! In fact, here in the heat of summer, I have to monitor the water temperature in my 16' x 48 round above ground pool because it gets too warm (almost 100 degrees!). The 15 round fits the 16 pool beautifully. My previous blue solar covers lasted only one season before beginning to disintegrate and shedding little blue plastic dots that clogged up my filter. I have a feeling this cover will last a lot longer.One downside is that because of the thickness, it's a little bit stiff and harder to fold up. It's also a bit heavier but nothing an average adult can't handle. Another downside is that there are no holes in it so with the pump on, the cover gets covered with water and starts to get submerged. I will probably add a few holes myself to keep the cover on the surface.Overall I am very pleased with this purchase.

Solar heats the pool water a couple of degrees, easy to roll up and unroll across the water, and it helps keep bugs and leaves out of the pool overnight. It's the second one I've purchased. Very pleased.

So our experience with this solar tarp has been amazing!! We have a 33' round pool, so I bought the 30' round cover because of the stairs, very impressed. Last few years I didn't want to get in the pool because it was cold, the wife wanted to try this, I was hesitant. So far the pool has maintained between 85-90. We are in the pool every weekend.
