I'm going to say that this is a very good product. One should know how to apply this product correctly. And if you're a beginner, look for proper guidance.

First of all, this is the real deal, genuine Beckett parts. Parts arrived quickly, and fit perfectly. Even came with a setting gauge, which came in handy, for sure. If you are not sure how to set the electrodes, there are some videos on YouTube that are very helpful. I was not sure what was causing my hard start, as it is very hard to tell if your electrodes are just a bit dirty, or something much worse, which is arcing to ground, instead of jumping the gap properly. I set this up per Beckett instructions, and a bit of advice from YouTube, and now my furnace lights INSTANTLY. Super happy with these, and will buy again, the gauge is a nice touch, and the price is outstanding.

Good stuff, just make sure you tighten the couplings and shorten the extentions by cutting if required.

You can cut the rods shorter if needed because they are plenty long enough for most applications

Improved the efficiency of my furnace. This is a great little product. I was using this to replace the current ones I have in my furnace. It was not an exact fit so I had to just unscrew some pieces off of this and screwed onto the old one. But long story short a furnace is burning oil about three times as efficiently. I'm so glad I got this

Changed many of these over the years... best ones yet, high quality... packaging needs much improvement though...

As much as I said I wasn't going to, I've become my own furnace service technician. Yeah I'm picky, but I've seen enough bad work done that I haven't brought myself to trust any of the local service companies. I'll find a good one... some day.In the meantime, my oil furnace gets new filters, a new nozzle, and the combustion chamber and heat exchanger vacuumed every year. I also check the electrode length and position, among other things.I end up replacing the electrodes about every 3 years. I can get longer out of them, but for $17 why bother? I keep a set of these along with a filter, cad cell, and a spare nozzle in a plastic box near the furnace. Barring a failure of the expensive parts (transformer, primary, pump, etc.) I can probably get the furnace back up and running on a Sunday night after all the stores are closed.The electrodes come with the gauge to set them up. They're not too fussy, and you can usually set them by eye, but why bother when the gauge is literally right there?

Points worked good. Threaded end will need to be cut to size. Tip adjustment sheet has great information on setting them up right, saved that is a safe place for future use.
