We had a cheap vacuum before I ordered this one and it was fine, but we decided that it was time to be an adult a splurge on a nice vacuum. HOLY COW!! This vacuum is AMAZING!! I didn't realize how horrible our other vacuum was until after one vacuum around our house and the canister was 3/4 full. And the lines in the carpet it makes are chef's kiss. My wife sheds a ton and this vacuum cleans up all the hair off the bathroom floor! Say goodbye to your broom and old vacuum and hello to the vacuum of your dreams!!

This thing picks up more dirt than the other two I've had combined. Each time our cleaning service comes, we have to empty the canister. It is FULL of dirt. We are quite tidy people, so it's shocking to see how much this truly lifts up and removes. So glad we discovered this!

The hoses break very easily and when you call shark to get things replaced they will only replace it when the engine malfunctions even if you got the insurance they won't help you

Great suction, however the dust canister is smaller than expected/would prefer. Also the accessory hose could be longer for reaching longer spaces

Its a little bit heavy but attends perfectly well its purpose. Its not noisy, common for this typo of vacuum. Suction power is great. Easy to clean.Easy to handle. Good extra accessories for smal spaces, sofa, etc. I do recommend with star.

This vacuum has SAVED my rugs! With 5 cats in the house, I was unable to keep everything clean...UNTIL I found this vacuum! It is AMAZING, hasn't lost suction over the 6 months I've used regularly. Easy to clean out the tank.

This vacuum cleaner is easy to use and does a great job. The canister is easy to empty, the rollers pickup a lot of stuff, the cord is long enough. It has a really good feel.Two drawbacks:1) The straight suction tube (which is the handle when you pull it free from the rest of the vacuum) is clunky to take off. I have to work at it every time, rather than have it easily just come off.2) There is no front light to illuminate the carpet in front of the vacuum. Would have cost another $3 to put one on, and it is a real shame it isn't there. I guess if you pay another $100 to get a better model it is included.
