My air conditioner motor wouldn't start up this past summer. I noticed the Capacitor on the side of the motor was bulging. This means the old Capacitor was dead. After READING the side of my old Capacitor to get the proper VALUES and CONNECTIONS.. I ordered this as a replacement. Installation took one screw and and hooking up the wires was easy.1) Turn off your Circuit Breaker or pull the Fuse to your Air Conditioner.2) Make a NOTE of the wires and which ones connect to which terminals on the OLD Capacitor.3) Unscrew the old Capacitor and pull OFF the wires.4) Remount the NEW Capacitor and reinstall the wires EXACTLY as they were attached to the old one.5) Turn ON your Circuit Breaker or Replace the Fuse and turn on your air conditioner.EASY! Just make sure your BRAND of Air Conditioner COMPRESSOR MOTOR takes this SIZE and TYPE of Capacitor.

Our AC broke on one of the hottest days of the year. I installed this thing as per a YouTube video I watched. Install was fast and easy maybe 5 minutes time. Kicked the unit on and it worked as good as new.
