Using this item to provide extra aeration to my koi pond for treating filamentous algae. Setup was quick and easy. All necessary check valves, hoses, etc. were included. It has been running nonstop for over a month now without incident.Only caveat is that the unit must be sheltered from the elements, despite the fact that the pond is obviously outside! Luckily, the hoses are fairly long, which gives one much flexibility in locating the unit. Another important note: The aerating discs float and are very light, so one must weigh them down or affix them to the bottom for proper aeration. Unfortunately, bumping the hoses can cause the discs to be displaced fairly easily.Overall, very effective product for the price.

It has provided the areation that was needed for my Koi pond. I have had no complete feezeovers of the pond even with prolonged 14f degree temperatures. The aerator is being used instead of a more expensive pond heator. If my fish could talk the would also give the product high ratings.

The high today is 0 Fahrenheit. I have my goldfish wintering in a tank in my garage, and it was icing up, so I brought the pump indoors to surround those fish with love and warmer air. I ordered a tank deicer but may not need it. Very quiet. Lots of air flow. Minimal power draw.

I am very happy with it so far. I don't have it very long but seems to be working great.
