I used this hook in my bathroom and it looks great on the back of my door. It holds a towel or my robe really well.

My Turkish bathrobe that She Who Must Be Obeyed got me for last Christmas weighs a ton!!! It pulled the hook right out of the closet door where I keep it hanging so I was on the lookout for a new one when Vine offered this Amerock Arrondi Collection Robe Hook. Right away I loved the classic lines and it looked like it was substantial and would hold my heavy bathrobe in place with no problem. It also passed She Who Must Be Obeyed's critical eye for fitting in with our decor. It looks really nice and it holds my bathrobe after I put it up directly into a stud. (btw I noticed that although the hook and wall holder are stainless steel the screws for installation are not...so I replaced them with ss screws I bought elsewhere so there's no corrosion down the road. I'm happy with it and my robe stays where I put it!! Five Stars

This is a classy and modern looking hook. Because it doesn't curve in, it can drop robes off it they are heavy and don't have a loop. In other words, if you are just hooking the color area, this straight up design won't always keep it on. It installs easily and looks sharp.

This is a single robe hook and works very well. It took literally 5 min from opening the box till having it in the back of my door. Installation was easy. It's a solid piece but was a bit more shiney than I thought when I opened it but it still looks great. Overall we're very pleased.

Minimalistic design, this robe hook is about as straightforward as can be found. Brushed stainless finish the mounting hardware that is included leaves a bit to be desired; it's not terrible but not as durable as might be needed to heavy robes. Instead, consider replacing with more durable screws and anchors. Otherwise easy installation, nice simple appearance and functional.

This is easy to install amp; sturdy. It is best to install this in a spot with a stud in the wall instead of just drywall or plaster. The hook has a simple stainless look.

This robe hook is a great looking piece of hardware. It should fit into any space where it is needed, because it is compact. It has a lovely brushed chrome finish, and was easy to install. I say 34;easy34; because I had a handyman here doing some other work and asked him to install it. It is very heavy and appears to be well made, and I love it in my bathroom. I also think it is a really great price, because it will be a welcome addition to any room where you elect to use it. I am going to order two more for my other bathrooms, that is how much I like it. I HIGHLY recommend it!

Due to our awkwardly-built apartment, there was only one hand towel rack in a bathroom with two sinks, and my husband got it because I don’t always think things thru. When this item came up, I was super excited. It’s perfect for the spot on the wall where it’s the most useful, and it accomplishes the ultimate goal - to not have to leave my hand towel on the counter. It was easy to install and looks really nice.

For what the intended purpose is and what is advertised by the manufacturer, this robe hook does the job and looks nice when not in use. Good fit and finish along with an easy to follow installation. Just remember to drill the holes before attempting to place the screws on a load bearing wall or into studs. The screws were not made to be installed without pre-drilling first. I am happy with the hook and will get more for the other bathrooms.

This is a great looking robe hook, and because I've purchased many pieces of Amerock product, I expect this will be a welcome addition to our bathroom. There is some good advice in the other reviews. Test to make sure the cover fits squarely on the mounting plate by fitting it together and pressing it onto the wall. Mark the actual vertical of the hook and then place the screw holes. Also, it's probably a good idea to use high-quality screws. I've never had a set screw rust, but I will take the precaution of spraying it with WD40 before inserting it.
