Precision, stainless-steel hinge points and press-fit bushings ensure trouble-free action and reliable, maintenance-free operation for decades. Die-cast-aluminum alloy linkage components and precision-machined pivot points give BedStep® rock-solid stability, and Teflon powder-coating ensures years of trouble-free, corrosion-proof operation. The ridged, non-slip step is molded of strong glass-reinforced resin, for safe footing even in mud, snow or ice.

Great product that's worth every penny. Cheaper ones are out there but you usually get what you pay for. Install was fairly easy. They could have left a little more room for your socket to fit in the main bracket pocket but that's about the worst part. Instructions could be better but decent enough to understand. Much easier to get in the bed now. Happy it's made in USA and why I paid what I did. $300 and no stickers in the box? Lol

Install was easy other than the fact the nuts I needed to remove from my frame to attach the step were stuck on. Once I got those all the step went on easy and seems to be sturdy. I purchased mine as an open-box item for around $130 dollars. Probably would not have bought for full retail price of $280.

This step is absolutely a most have. It is extremely strong and sturdy!!! You'd think it was something Ford had put on it as standard equipment....they should look into it. HahahaAfter installing it, I helped a friend move some stuff and now they want one. It was so easy to get into the back of my F350 Dully.
