Paddle has excellent spin, speed and control. It came with Black Tin Arc and Red Hurricane 3 both are very good rubber. I use Red for Forehand for looping and black back hand for smashes and pushes. It could be 5 star paddle but it is very heavy for a paddle (240 g/ 9 oz) compared to standard and some what stinky so 4.5 stars. There was a scratchable sticker with 12 digit code which I entered in the web site dhsworld and it came up Genuine (More details on one of the question I answered in Q&A section)

After sparingly using it for few months the paddle handle is splitting apart - looks like the glue is not holding the wooden pieces together. Also, the paddle stinks really bad like fish and I need to wash my hands after using it every time. The performance of the rubber is good though and it generates good spin

Really enjoy playing with these paddles! I am only a novice player, but noticed more slam ability right away.

Incredible and affordable racket. I am very pleased with this purchase. For non professional (recreational and practice) usage is perfect. I wouldn't say is for more serious players, but if what you need to do is to train/practice/recreational play, it is perfect.

Great paddle for the money. Great control for the more advanced player. Thick Sponge with stiffer rubber than I expected changed my game for the better.

This paddle is awesome. I am definitely not a professional. Maybe an Amateur. But the control and speed I get with this is great. The only thing is when I got it the case for the paddle was a little messed up. The velcro (not the one that is sticky on the back) was partly tore off. The stitching was coming undone.

Crazy spin! Great once you get used to the weight (in my case). My friend's paddles are lighter and thus respond quicker to a flick of the wrist. But their's do not have the rubber that this paddle has. Great rubber, not-to-invasive of a smell (paint, you can smell the paint), and once my wrist got stronger, i can flick this thing faster than a light paddle. Which means this is excellent to practice with if your tourny paddle is a bit lighter.

Good paddle, powerful bat with strong spin. Difficult to control but once mastered, makes your plays much harder to return. I am a pretty offensive player and it suits me with some practice. The bat does have a slight fishy smell but it goes away after a simple rinse with water. It comes from the racket handle. I am okay with it as it isn't that extreme or that bad.Great buy and worth the price! Don't go after those with famous players as the cover. You want a bat that is reliable and affordable like this.

This paddle is great for the price. My friend bought the $80 Stiga Carbon Pro and it performs very similarly. The only reason I didn't give this four stars is the fishy smell that it came with, but it did go away after about a month. The rubbers are very sticky and the paddle is well made. This is a great paddle, but may take some time to adjust to the speed and tackiness of the rubbers.

Terrible smell on the handle. That rotten fish smell that everyone talks about is definitely there and it actually made me light headed while playing. If that's not enough, the racket was fake. I entered the verification code on the dhs website and confirmed that it was fake. The Hurricane 3 rubber was shiny and reflective. I compared a real Hurricane 3 to mine and the difference was insane. If you want a fake product that smells like s*** this is perfect for you!

I thought the 4002 was way too heavy, and although the 4006 is lighter I find it's too top heavy which makes your strokes (in particular your backhand) a little awkward feeling . I find the 6002 to not only be lighter but more importantly: balanced. It might be lighter than it's cheaper counterparts but compared to a custom racket it is still on the heavy side. Keep in mind that DHS rubber is notoriously heavy. I love the feel of the ball hitting this paddle, compared to the 4006 which has a very uninspiring twang feeling when you hit the ball. The 6002 is a very solid and confident inspiring feeling and sound especially with the backhand. Part of that is the wood itself but also the Tin Arc rubber is has more control than the G888 thats on the cheaper models.A note for beginners (as in you just started playing)... As a beginner myself I found that the Hurricane III rubber has less gears meaning if you're nervous and shy about hitting the ball it will go nowhere; which is frustrating when you're learning the game. I'm not saying you have to swing and put all the power that a pro puts out. You just need to have proper form and follow through with your strokes as good rubber is unforgiving. If you're buying the cheaper 4006, or 4002 you're going to need to spend another $10 or so for a case so you might as well get the 6002 and get a much better racket that already comes with a case (albeit a case that doesn't fit that great but hey it does it's job).
