It was the exact volume of air space ideal for my speaker and it was relatively cheap, especially for the quality. I see what some reviews say... it arrived stinking of glue pretty bad. Just air it out for a bit and it's fine. They just bagged it up too soon after making them... it trapped the fumes a bit before the glue totally dried

I had a ported micro sub already installed under my seat, but I was underwhelmed with it's performance. Since my SUV is getting older, I didn't want to spend a bunch of money or do anything custom. I already had some JBL 12 subs laying around from another sale, so I wanted to find a box that fit my needs. The TR12S fit the bill. Pretty cheap, black carpeting (so many are gray) and the dimensions worked for me. I would have loved to get a ported box, but was unwilling to give up the room. This box at 1.25 cubic feet worked good for my sub. The box was adequately built, and I had no problem installing my sub. The connector quality was fine. After wiring up the sub and adding 1 pound of fiber fill, I screwed the sub to the box and added a grill. The cutout was perfect and I didn't need to add any glue to the seams. I'm pretty happy with the performance. It's a hard box to beat for not much over $50. This is definitely a big step up over what I had previously. For a cheap pre built box, I'm pretty happy.

Used box for a SKAR SDR-12.? Other reviewers mention how the internal volume is right for their sub. Same with the SKAR. Lots of other sealed boxes with.75-1cu ft. It's nice that this one has some more space. Knock test showed lots of resonance. Not super surprised. It's cheap. My chief complaint is that after I installed it in my hatchback, which has no separation between the box and cabin, there is an off/ chemical smell in the vehicle. I can't be 100 certain that it's this box, but I'm pretty darn sure. It's bad enough that I'm considering going to something elseFYI. Probably would be fine in a regular trunk.

In my younger days, I bought the cheapest box I could find for my car subs. As it turns out, having a box with the appropriate air volume makes a big difference in sound quality. As such, I picked up this box with it's 1.25 cubic foot volume to match with my old 12 infinity sub that needed a 1.25 cubic foot volume. I stapled in some quilting material to serve as the dampening material, per the sub's manual, and put it all back in my car. My sub sounds much better now and has much more even response down to the low 30Hz range.If you need a 1.25 cubic foot volume sealed sub box for your 12 sub, this is a great option.
