Most people don't know that there is a Deaf Culture and a Deaf community and I wish I could give every single one of those people this book. This was required reading for my Deaf Culture class and it was extremely useful and informative. It is well written and easy to follow, this book is not only informative but fun to read. I highly recommend everyone to read this book, regardless if you are an ASL student, studying to become an interpreter, or a hearing individual with no connects to the Deaf community.
