This sickle proved to be exactly what I needed to harvest green plant matter for my rabbits. The edge is very sharp and the curved blade proved to be perfect for cutting a handful of plants. It also worked great with a sweeping motion to cut plants that were too short to grab with my hands.

Unless it's pouring I am working outside. Of all the tools I own--a lot!--this has become my absolute favorite. You can use it one handed, unlike any shears or loppers, and it holds a sharp edge. I have no complaints and am mystified how this wonderful tool could have anything but 5 stars.

We are pestered by this Bamboo-type plant it goes wild here and is impossible to get rid of. I keep it at bay with this handy cycle.

So useful when used correctly. It's not for hacking like a machete or sickle. Grab a weed/etc in your non dominate hand and use the tool to pull quickly (and carefully) toward you. Slices through blue stem grass, brambles etc with relative ease.

It does pretty good for the price, I do lawn Care and at the time of this writing was doing for cleanup which means I'm cutting many things off at the ground but I haven't broke it yet LOL.

I wasn't really sure what I was getting when I ordered this tool. I watched some reviewer videos and it looked like something I could use. I did cut myself right away, right through my glove, so caution is needed when learning to use it. It's great for holding stubborn weeds with one hand and cutting them close with the other. You can use this tool in either hand which is a big help to me.

I haven't had the chance to use the tool yet but I can say this. Do Not! Let children or wives open the package. This tool is extremely sharp, which is good per se. However the company could have developed a safer sheeth for the tool. Literally as u slide it in and out of the plastic it slices the plastic. Take a word of advice company who made this....make a protective sheeth or I can almost promise you someone's gonna have an accident. Other than that can't wait to see how it performs.
