I've been using this to cut back vines and other growth around my garden and it's been doing a good job so far. It's a good size for practical use and I can easily fit it in my gardening basket when I'm not using it. I wish there were more color choices though, like black, grey, white, amp; green. I'd also appreciate if the handle had a bit more weight to it.

Great, reasonably priced sickle.Use this one for most sickling jobs even though I have a larger, more comfortable sickle.Accidentally cut through some wire mesh that was at the base of a tree and broke a couple of teeth early on. Thought I was struggling due to recalcitrant weeds. Say this to say, take care of the blade. Don't do what I did if you would like to prolong the life of the tool.

I have huge bird of paradise plants and they need to be cut back often. Pruning shears work but it's not easy. I saw a city worker using something similar cutting some BoP plants while waiting at a train crossing. I found these and it is amazing how well they work. 1 quick swipe and the stem is cut. It has decreased my effort considerably. I even loaned it to my lawn guy when he offered to prune my BoP plants. He hadn't seen them before. He has his own now.

LOVE it. I wish there was a sturdy scabbard for it since the shape doesn't really match anything I have seen. Orange handle makes it easier to find

It's harvest time in NC. This is working great for harvesting. Does well on thick stalked crop too. Love the orange handle...I lose stuff alot.I definitely recommend it for small farms and gardens when you have to hand harvest.

Used for trimming Birds of Paradise. Blade size makes it easy to get into tight places and the blade cuts with ease.

I have huge ornamental gardens that are unfortunately infested with all of the worst weed players: Blackberry, thistle, horsetail, buttercup, field grass. All of these are very difficult if not impossible to dig out by the root. I've resigned myself to not even try, and instead I use this amazing tool to just quickly clear the weeds to the ground. I can clear a 30' stretch of garden in a few hours vs. weeks of hard weeding. Doing this in spring, summer and fall keeps my garden looking great and is a happy compromise for me. Less disruption of the soil also keeps new weeds from easily sprouting from seed.
